Civil Engineering

Before we study civil engineering course I'm sure most of the student want to know what is civil engineering. So my friend, as a civil Engineering student's i'll tell you what is civil Engineering.
Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works such as bridges, roads, canals, dams and buildings. Civil engineering is the oldest engineering discipline after military engineering, and it was defined to distinguish it from military engineering.[5] It is traditionally broken into several sub-disciplines including environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, transportation engineering, water resources engineering, materials engineering, coastal engineering, surveying, and construction engineering. Civil engineering takes place on all levels: in the public sector from municipal through to federal levels, and in the private sector from individual homeowners through to international companies.
Until modern times there was no clear distinction between civil engineering and architecture, and the term engineer and architect were mainly geographical variations referring to the same person, often used interchangeably. In the 18th century, the term civil engineering began to be used to and exchange, and in the construction of ports, harbours, moles, breakwaters and lighthouses, and in the art of distinguish it from military engineering.

Friend Forever

A friend is a treasure that everyone has

Sometimes they come, sometimes they pass
Your friends will stay if you don't betray or lie

Or leave them behind
Just put this on your mind

A friend is what you need
To succeed in this life

In this world were you can't live you can't breath
Life will be unfair but your friend will be there

To give you hope, and faith
And a path that is right to take

This will lead you to your dreams
That you never thought would come true

That is being friends forever with you.
Sometimes you forget

What your friend has done
You just stab them in the back

And leave them behind
But when it comes to them

And they don't do the same
You just turn your back

And do it again
But one sunny day

You will be alone
Then you will realize

that all you once had is gone.

JOKE

A man was sitting reading his paper when his wife hit him round the head with a frying pan.

“What was that for?” the man asked.

The wife replied “That was for the piece of paper with the name Jenny on it that I found in your pants pocket”.

The man then said “When I was at the races last week Jenny was the name of the horse I bet on”

The wife apologized and went on with the housework.

Three days later the man is watching TV when his wife bashes him on the head with an even bigger frying pan, knocking him unconscious.

Upon re-gaining consciousness the man asked why she had hit again.

Wife replied .”Your horse phoned

Flu:-(

what do yuo do if you get the flu..here some tips to handle with it..

*Drink lots of fluids.
*Get lots of sleep and take it easy. This is a great time to chill with your favorite DVDs without your mom or dad asking you to help out around the house!
*Take acetaminophen or ibuprofen to relieve fever and aches. Over-the-counter cold or cough medicines may also relieve some flu symptoms. Avoid taking aspirin, though, unless your doctor says it's OK. Aspirin can put teens at greater risk of developing Reye syndrome, a serious illness that sometimes follows infection with the flu virus.
*Wear layers. You might be cold one minute and hot the next, and wearing several layers — like a T-shirt, sweatshirt, and robe — makes it easy to add or remove clothes as needed.
*Wash your hands frequently. You don't want to spread the flu to everyone else, if you can help it. Also, avoid sharing cups and eating utensils with other people.

control your mood...

Here are some things you can do that might make those bad moods a bit easier to handle:-)
Recognize you're not alone. Although not every teen experiences mood changes to the same degree, they are common.
Catch your breath. Or count to 10. Or do something that lets you settle down for a few moments, especially if you're feeling angry or irritable. Try to look at the situation from the point of view of a wise observer.
Talk to people you trust. Friends can help each other by realizing that they're not alone in their feelings. Talking to parents is important, too. Parents can share their own experiences dealing with bad moods. Plus, they'll appreciate it if you try to explain how you feel instead of just slamming a door. Teachers and counselors are often good resources, and a doctor can help sort through questions about development. Keeping feelings inside can make them seem much worse.
Exercise. Regular exercise produces more beta-endorphin, a hormone that controls stress and improves mood. Go for a run, play some tennis, ride your bike, or punch a punching bag.
Get enough sleep. Though it can be hard to find enough time, getting adequate rest is very important. Being tired can lead to more sadness and irritability.

sun and skin

my past article is about sunburn...now i want to share with you how to get protection and care your skin from the sunburn....

We all know we need to protect our skin from the sun's harmful rays. Of course, it's impossible to avoid the sun — who wants to hide indoors when it feels so great to get outside and be active? And the sun's not all bad, anyway: Sunlight helps our bodies create vitamin D. So follow these tips when you're outdoors to help manage sun exposure:
Wear sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 15, even if it's cloudy or you don't plan on spending a lot of time outdoors. If you sweat a lot or go swimming, reapply sunscreen every 2 to 3 hours (even if the bottle says the sunscreen is waterproof).
Choose a sunscreen that blocks both UVA and UVB rays. Look for the words "broad spectrum protection" or UVA protection in addition to the SPF of 15 or greater. Select a sunscreen that says "nonacnegenic" or "noncomedogenic" on the label to help keep pores clear.
The sun's rays are strongest between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, so make sure you reapply sunscreen frequently and take breaks indoors if you can. If your shadow is longer than you are tall, then it's a safer time to be in the sun (you should still wear sunscreen, though).
Apply more sunscreen (with higher SPF) when you're around reflective surfaces like water, snow, or ice.
We all know that the sun can damage skin, but did you know it can contribute to eye problems, too? Protect your face and eyes with a hat and sunglasses that provide 100% UV protection.
Some medications, such as prescription acne medications or birth control pills, can increase your sensitivity to the sun, so if you're taking medication, increase your sun protection.
If you want the glow of a tan, try faking it with self-tanners or salon tanning treatments. Avoid tanning beds, though, because although manufacturers claim that tanning beds are free of UVB rays, they still use harmful UVA rays.

How to be confident??

Hai my friends..

We are all human and have flaws.Even if your physical appearance, unique personality or social skill aren't what you wish they were, that doesn't have to stop you from being confident. You are beautiful inside and out so you should love yourself unconditionally. Here's how to believe in yourself. Here i would like to share with byou how tobe confident..all of this tips i read in from the magazines.

Make a list of special talents you have, or things you do that are good—morally or otherwise. Focusing on your attributes helps distract you from those parts of yourself that you think are flawed. It doesn't have to be a specific skill or activity either; it can be an approach or an attitude that you champion through life. Do you always stay calm, cool and collected, even in hurried situations? Are you very patient with people? Do you always see the humorousside of things? Are you always there for your friends? find your passion.Whether it's baton twirling, material arts or basket weaving, you will feel confident pursuing that endeavor by recognizing what you enjoy doing the most. More importantly, you'll be enjoying your progress. Choose a role model, whether someone close to you, or someone famous. Think of the qualities that the role model displays, whether physical, emotional, moral, and/or spiritual. Work towards acquiring those. Don't think about yourself too much. Try not to focus negatively on how you come across or how others may perceive you. Instead, focus more on making other people happy, and that will build your confidence as other people start enjoying your company. Accept compliments gracefully. Don't roll your eyes and say, "Yeah, right," or shrug it off. Take it to heart and respond positively ("Thank you" and a smile works well). Know that you have important things to say and do. When you feel strongly about something, speak loudly and clearly and make eye contact with people. Be yourself. Everyone can do it...

The important in our relationship are we must honest and trust to each other. That's is a key to have good relationship and don't forget to be honest to yourself first and be yourself..you will find it is smoothly and easy..
The good friends also someone that can give us a support and always advise us..we also must thinking positive to their advises..one that always praise us is not mean she or he is a good friends but one that always critic us sometimes can make as a good friends because we know our mistakes and we can try to improve our weakness..
Lastly we must appreciate and always help each others..
